Privacy policy

This integration is operated privately by the server owner for their own server backups.

Google data and permissions

The Google Drive permission allows reading, creating, modifying and deleting Drive files. The configured backup connection operates in the owner's Backups folder to upload encrypted backups, list and verify backup objects, restore files and apply retention rules.

The Google account email is used to verify the intended account. OAuth tokens are stored on the server with restricted access. Backup content is encrypted by Restic before upload; encryption credentials remain under the server owner's control.

Use and sharing

Google user data is used only to provide backup and recovery. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. The integration does not intentionally transfer Google user data to additional third parties. Google processes the stored files as the Drive service provider.

Alfresco Server Backup's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and control

Backup snapshots are retained according to the server's configured retention policy. The owner can revoke access in their Google Account and remove backups from Drive. Revoking OAuth access stops future access; it does not automatically delete existing backups. Contact the server owner for access, deletion or privacy requests.

This website

These static pages do not request Google sign-in, use analytics, or set application cookies. The web server may record technical request information in access logs for operations and troubleshooting.
